Slackware…open source goodness

Slackware is a free unix-like operating system that runs very well on Intel/AMD, and Mac computers.  This is Slackware 13.1 booting up on my Toshiba NB200 Netbook.  I’m running the extra free cholesterol environment (XFce 4.6.1) on this unit.  Free open source software is a passion of mine; I fervently believe in having the freedom to choose what type of software I run on the machines that I own.  Slackware is the oldest version of Linux in use today, it is my operating system of choice:)  I started running Linux and Unix in 2002.  The penguin rules, man:)
